Men and their wives?

June 26, 2007

Im planning a holiday trip for my Boyfriend for his birthday and as well as 23 of our friends. Now we have only been dating for 8 going on 9 months, which in turn means Im just meeting some of the, not so close friends now. Two couples have actulally disgusted me, or shold I say the testosterone side of the couple.

The guys seem to feel my trip that Im planning is a chance to get away from their wives for the weekend, They have not informed their errr....BETTER HALVES that the trip is for everyone and that they were invited too. Whats up with that? Can any male out there give me a validated reason for this as I clearly do not understand this concept.

If they were still dating and did not make a vow before God friends and Family to be together, made a commitment to each other, and declared their love to the World...I might of then understood. Ok I know I might sound like the typical women now but for the fact that these couples are still in their twenties (When things should be based on Love and Fresh air as well as new beginnings)...

How to make S.A more mobility legal?

June 25, 2007

I would most likely say- Do we even have laws for pedestrians today? as they are more hazardous than a drunk driver I think! Just take a drive on the highway and see how many people just randomly cross a highway. Im sure a traffic cop would make more money handing out fines to padestrians on a monday morning for J-walking in town as apposed to a saturday night speeding fines.

With our technological developments in terms of cars, even the little noise maker cars are well equipped to handle higher speeds than the reccomended, and still leave the passengers quite safe. So can no-one smell the cofee here or are my opinions bias? why cant we learn from other countries and equip our roads so well that drivers can drive faster and pedestrians actually get fines. I mean really the pace of the world is increasing so why cant the speed limits increase too ay and if you worried about drunk drivers. Hello... Cops please get off your asses and stop trying to catch the wrong people. There are Hi-jackers, Murderers, rapists, and drunk drivers out there to catch just to mention a few. Oh wait thats to difficult...

Religious Marriage Battle

June 19, 2007

I have this friend whom is battling to get a divorce based on religious laws. As a woman she seems to have no rights of ridding this man from her life. She has consulted so many religious leaders in attempt to get herself out of this marrige .but without any glimpse of a resolution.

These religious leaders tell her that as long as he is attempting to reconcile and there are young children there is no choice for her in this matter. This is not fair!!!

Why does she want a divorce? Well obviously we know where the problem lies with any women seeking a divorce, but use your imagination on this one, as this guy does some pretty strange things in his spare time. Things the average normal thinking person would never dare to conceive. Why is it that we are in such a democratic country but we cannot escape these religious leaders’ laws?

I think God may be more democratic than that. My friend pains to move on in her life but cannot shake this baggage. Where do people of the book get off ruling peoples lives as only God can give the final word. I say. And this... [More]

Cheating in relationships

June 18, 2007

I am baffled by this concept, If we have to flip mode the situation for a second...

If you were given seven bottles of wine to taste and were told that the one you choose, the vinyard and the recipe will be given to you and this will be your income forever all on a silver platter. Would you then pour a bit of each one into one glass and taste it and know exactly which one was your perfect choice?...dont kid yourself now its impossible.

Why do we then do this in our relationships? This weekend I was confronted by a young lady who at the lovely age of 15 asked me for advice on which boyfriend to choose, the 18 year old or the 22 year old? Sickening as it might sound innocence seems to cloud our judgement as we all believe we innocent. Im sorry but are you kidding me!... No one is purely innocent in this lifetime.

What happened to those "old school rules" our parents were taught.I wont lie and will call myself bias but I like those rules. Damn dating would be so easy then. But we currently fixed on this vicious cycle of...

What’s up with the people of this country? Can a girl drive to work in peace?

June 14, 2007

Today driving to work I had an Idiot screaming and performing behind me because I refused to move forward when there was no more space on the other side of the Robot due to traffic even though the robot was still green. I tried getting him to calm himself but he raged on and looked retarded which made me burst out laughing (I will admit) it didn’t help the situation much. The guy kept threatening me till we went our separate ways. Is everyone in such a hurry these days they refuse to use common sense. We then call people names we would never repeat to our mother and generalize thereafter based on one idiot that in a hurry... After that lovely situation I drove on ranting on to my co-driver about the situation and in the process stopped paying attention and almost rammed into the back of a taxi which just randomly stopped at the drivers own foolhardy discretion. Where he felt compelled to comment about this in a rather harsh manner accusing me of being a typical women driver!!

Whereas if it means anything I was taught to drive by a JMPD officer (err... SA's Finest)

Do I get upset... [More]

Is Love a Perception?

June 14, 2007

Is Love merely a perception of what we feel ,it may be, or is it real?

Are we taught this emotion as a child by learning a perception from our parents. Kiss

Is our perception aligned with others and thus we fall in love with people who percieve love the same way. Or do we just become so loyal to certain individuals that we feel Love?

Perceptions are so strong it rules our being, could love be one of them, I dare to ask as I feel love? I know I am in love but am I really.

s my perception of life telling me this is how I feel? Who would dare to tread these lines of questions as to believe our Perception is Safe and Comforting.

If Perception is so strong, How else are we decieving ourselves?
